Radiopoisoned desert

The radiopoisoned desert is the only wilderness possible in hanyo town. It is full of radioactive fallout, domestic and industrial pollution, securibugs and weaponised plagues. The hanyos regard the wild as their enemy, and either exploit or poison it. Towards the end of the twentyfirst century, the radiopoisoned desert became a popular place to maroon slags and chicks who had displeased their masters or simply were no use any more. The stories told about the desert in hanyo town suggested that people would die there in a matter of hours, but in fact many people who had been thrown away by their hanyo masters survived and went on to establish survivariums. In Florian times, the main concer of terton teams ws to clean up the poisons and residues of hanyo times, called hanyout, and reegreen these places. See also White Zone and Zero Margin
