Threads

Threads are units of karma. One pushes a thread of karma in any one of the ten karma colours for an action that has made one happy. The doer of the action sis said to pull the thread. Initially these were actual threads: the early Survivors at Zigsa's Nest captured a shipment of embroidery threads bound for a factory and used lengths of the threads to keep track of who had done whom what favour. As the system grew ore complex, it was shifted to digital. It remains the basis of Florian activity.
