Test to Destruction Centre 8

Test to Destruction Centre 8 was a facility in the Lop Nur desert where 'rejects' of the Lionfist Human Resources department were subjected to torture to discover if they had any psychic resistance, with a view to weaponising whatever capabilities they might display. It was the brainchild of Basil Quan, a hanyo and Head of Human Resources at Lionfist. In 2067 Zigsa, then twelve year old, was sent there from the Slag School in New Kashgar on account of her having discovered her trunk of treasures. This contained a great deal of information about he time before the hanyos and essentially revealed the lies the hanyos had been telling about the pre-hanyo period in order to justify their rule. This was why Zigsa was immediately removed from the school. Subjects at the facility typically survived for a few months at most, but Zigsa survived for nearly three years, the the surprise of her tester. Furthermore, towards the beginning of 2071, three of her tester died by their own hand in rapid succession. THis piqued the interest of Basil Quan who came down in person to test Zigsa, who was then known as Subject 2105. ZIgsa does to him what she did with her three previous testers: she showed him visions of Antisense. This began to destabilise his mind, until finally he conceded defeat and helped Zigsa to escape. He expunged all records of her from the database so it was as if she had never existed, and promised not to pursue her. Subsequently the Test to Destruction Centres were closed.
