The year 2025 saw the first public attention focused on the birth of a baby with Broken Pot Syndrome. This apparently female child, known only to the press as Baby A, also had a heart defect and died seven weeks after birth. During the autopsy, the child was found to have male genes, ie to be 46XY. The distraught father was a patient of Pradip Shankar's, and insisted that Humane Choice must have something to do with his daughter's problems. Initially he speaks to the press, but, Shankar and Ramdhun pay an undisclosed amount and hush the matter up.
