Book 1 of the Antisense Universe
This twentieth anniversary edition is completely rewritten with a new solarpunk subplot and a host of new characters. The first version came out in 2005 from Penguin India (thanks to my editor Poulomi Chatterjee) and the rights reverted to me in 2010. I had written it as a near future SF story, but in 2005 no one wanted to hear about a grim dystopian future where the fascists have taken over. So here we are.
I have now reset the story in the period 2016-2020 in the Antisense Universe, and this book takes its place as the first of the series.
